• Most sites are trouble free - what’s special about this one?
• Check for high temperature, dust (especially conductive) blocked airflow,
pollution, condensation etc.
• Check the simple things first:
Supply correct (all three phases) and in tolerance?
Run/stop, analog signals present in tolerance?
Motor correct type and correctly wired?
Parameters correct? Compare with list and what seems
reasonable.
• Exchanging a unit will tell you quickly if it is the inverter or installation.
• Inverters usually Run or fail; partial working is unlikely. Check by
disconnecting motor, setting parameters back to factory (save first!) and
running open loop.
• Make careful notes and number any print outs - you will not remember
anything!
NOTE:-
BE LOGICAL AND CAREFUL IN YOUR INVESTIGATIONS. IF IN DOUBT:
CHECK IT AGAIN
